Indian Raga - On His Last Journey...

With a heavy heart, I am writing about my father, Indian Raga.
Indian Raga left all of us on 30th September 2012, to find a place for himself in heaven, which he surely will.

As I believe, you all respect him a lot, let us all pray for him.

And for any music related help that any of you need, please send an email to indianraga@gmail.com, I will try to respond as early as I can.

Thank you for all the affection and support that you gave to Indian Raga in his difficult times.
Indian Raga will always be with us through his precious collection of music.

Regards,

Indian Raga & Family

My deepest condolences to you and your family. I have'nt been to this site in a long while...what joy it has been to hang around on this site and enjoy the unconditional offerings of your father.

May his soul rest in peace, may god give you the strength to get through this tough, heart wrenching period and celebrate the life of a man who has given all of the internet community such undiluted joy in spreading indian music, treating us to rare gems...and knitting us into the tight music loving family we are...

My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I am grateful to your father as he shared his music collection and his deep knowledge with us. Indian classical music surely lost one of its greatest supporters.

I did not know your father's name. If it is appropriate, please share the name of this wonderful gentleman.

I came across Indian Raga a little too late. And much later to this post. My heart sinks in that abyss with no end to read of this loss, which could never be measured.

From what little I know about this divine music, Indian Raga was as inseparable from me as must be for the rest of the family on here.

I didn't know him, his name, what he looked like but I'm sure it was blissful. Its just the very vibe one got from him!

I'm sure he's watching in peace from the heavens above! :)
